Net Gains: Final Four Contest Winners

How does someone top a grand slam in a softball win? Well, that player wins a Panther Press Final Four Contest and enjoys good food at Gansett Wraps courtesy of the school’s student newspaper.

Zoie Pietras finished first in the Women’s Final Four contest, and Will Shine won prizes in both the women’s and men’s competitions to emerge with the biggest winners. Zoie picked South Carolina to beat Iowa by a dozen points, and Will tapped UConn to knock off Purdue by 15; both hit the margins right on the mark and were easy winners.

All prizes are from Gansett and courtesy of the newspaper. Students will receive their prize through English class. Here are the winners:

Women

Men

Will Shine $20
Riley DeForest $15
