Challenging Read: It was a pretty easy read with a smooth plot to follow.

What I Liked: Caraval is a very good book with a plot that differs from others. The mystery and awe of Stephanie Garber’s writing is enticing and beautiful, and her descriptions of the characters and settings make it feel as if you are there. The characters (Scarlet, Donatella, Legend and Julian) are all well developed and easy with which to connect.

What could have been better: Nothing could be better than it is.

Recommend: Definitely
